Stop Smoking – You can Do It!

Hi, my name is Carol. I was a smoker (fairly heavy) for 46 years. I too, am a great sceptic. I have tried, but not too hard, over the years to quit smoking, always to no avail.  I simply made the decision to quit smoking quite out of the blue and was hellbent that hypnosis would work for me. I had nothing to lose. I found Heather via social media. She was very local to me by travelling standards. I spoke to her on the telephone and found she had a very welcoming voice which instantly put me at ease.

I booked my initial appointment, blindly, of course, but still confident that this would enable me to quit smoking. I looked forward to my first hypnosis session and all it entailed. Going in with an open mind to my first session and meeting Heather just seemed effortless. It made sense as it was meant to  from the onset. I felt so comfortable and Heather was so accepting and warming of me. Our first session began flowing. I felt very calm and Heather, sometime into our session, mentioned that she would be hypnotizing me. I was a little unprepared, not knowing that it would take place initially. I wasn’t opposed to it by any means, only still somewhat sceptical.

Heather began by hypnotizing me and everything just seemed natural and flowed. I was like a sponge soaking up all Heather said and asked me to do. I can really only relate a little portion of what I experienced during that session. I saw a myriad or a kaleidoscope of beautiful pastel colors. Heather had also told me prior to hypnosis that my aura was yellow. During my the time I was under hypnosis a very beautiful golden yellow light was very evident and the rockpool at my feet that Heather asked me to visualise never materialised. There was however a whirlpool with no specific location which was slightly darker in color, but a happy color which was whirling and appearing to take away all of my stresses, tribulations and anxiety. It was just amazing. When I came out of hypnosis, I felt utterly calm  where usually I was just a bundle of nervous energy. Toward the end our first session, it was necessary to commit to another date where I would physically quit smoking. When reading the literature Heather provided, it was advisable to have another session within two weeks of my first session in order to still feel motivated to quit smoking. So, I booked my second session with Heather.

I had two weeks to prepare myself and to try to transition myself into being a non-smoker. I really did everything by the book and was always mindful of Heathers advice. Within the two weeks between the first and second appointment, Heather was always unwavering and unselfishly gave me her her support always. Unknown to me the change had already begun working after the first session.  My mind was receptive to it all. By the time the second session came around, I honestly think I was totally ready and prepared for any experience that would come my way. This session was slower paced, and the colors I saw this time were very light and very pure, gray and white mainly. I came out of hypnosis and again felt totally calm and at ease.

I can honestly testify today, that it’s been a month since I quit smoking.  I would never have been able to do this but for Heather’s intervention and the support that Heather has given to me constantly over this time. I swear if I were able to see auras, Heathers would be white like the pure driven snow.  Make no mistake, this has been an incredibly hard and steep road to climb, and I will still encounter obstacles along the way, but feel equipped now to remove them from my path. I feel successful and not defeated.

Thank you, Heather, and thank you mainly to my husband, who made an incredible show of support as always, for me.
